1. If the Chiefs are looking for a blocking TE, they'll likely put Bell out there.
2. He's not a better receiver than those guys. If he were, he'd still be playing WR.
He's too big and slow to be an NFL WR, and right now he's too thin to be an every down TE. His blocking is likely very underwhelming. Thus, he's a tweener.
Now, how do tweeners usually fair in the NFL? Go ahead and play those odds.
Can he come in and make some occasional catches for us? Sure! Of course!
But i think he needs another season or two at least to be a serviceable #2 TE.
