Whoever might be contemplating this, just make sure you know what the hell you are doing before you start doing that. A card interest payment far exceeds bitcoin and related coin gains many months at a time. I'd suggest cashing a 401K over that. Especially now while it's cheap to do so. All this is depends on you being a HODL'r vs Trader.
If you are borrowing to trade, borrow from the ecosystem. I have crypto offered up for load to margin traders or whoever. Decent passive income there at about .085 per day (though it goes to 1 during a bull run like we are seeing now).
Just don't be foolish and don't be greedy. Greed breeds foolishness. Buying an investment on credit requires room to take that hit if it doesn't work out.
I don't like this option availability. Especially for the kids who see credit as free money. I was that kid once. Didn't work out.
