You stopped watching because the Celtics continue to be one of the worst managed teams in the NBA. But it is understandable since you are just a front running fan (Sorry about the Dead Wings reference).
And what "sissy rules" are you referring to?
A. The 8 second rule to cross half-court?
B. Legalizing the illegal zone defense that was rampant ?
C. No more one-on-one, back your man down B.S.?
D. Prohibiting the hand checks that slowed down players?
Funny, but the pre-sissified years of Bird/Johnson has HIGHER scoring games than we have today. The real reasons that the scores are down is that the team concept of playing ball has been removed in favor for ESPN moments on SportsCenter.
Your Celtics are HORRIBLE to watch because all they have is Paul Pierce and his cast of no names. Your Coach up and quits, Aurebach is a drunk, and (M)Ainge knows nothing about assembling a team.
The REAL reason you stopped watching the Celtics is because they stink!
