Well Vern, it's like this: I never actually said DD was good; go back and reread my post. I quite clearly said "The coaches like him. They think he plays pretty well. End of story."

And I never said anything about whether the coaches can make bad decisions. Just that they liked him.
And let's not forget one other thing, Vern: I've been right far more often than I've been wrong about the defense since 2019. Oh sure, I've made mistakes and made some bad calls, but I've owned them all. But overall I've been right more often than i was wrong.
And I'm betting that professional coaches with multiple decades of experience are probably right far more often than a bunch of keyboard warriors that never played a down in their lives.
