Keep it in front of us and see if pat can be patient is the new way. So far he's gotten a little more impatient and made some mistakes. Thats what I suspect we will do. Keep linebacker depth and make you guys go 12 + plays every time and see if we can lull you into a mistake.
This IS the way teams are trying to play the Chiefs. For sure.

The bolded statement isn't true, though. That would indicate Mahomes is turning the ball over trying to force it deep. He isn't.

His INTs are:

1. Ravens - scrambling, trying to do too much/too late.
2. Chargers - typical Mahomes scramble play where he manipulates the S out of position with his eyes/heads. Marcus Kemp commits a pair of inexcusable errors in first: not catching the ball and second: tipping it up, leading to a diving INT. If Kemp just catches the ball, he has a pretty easy path to the end zone.
3. Chargers - scrambling late, 3rd and long, miscommunication with Kelce leads to overshot and INT
4. Eagles - 3rd and long at midfield. Instant pressure off good blitz, hit as he throws and off target

Re: Milano and Edmunds... that's a hard sell to non-Bills fans. Your fans who popped up here before the AFC title game SWORE Milano was going to make the difference from Game 1. He... did not.

Edmunds is a liability against the Chiefs in pass coverage.

The real key is if the Buffalo DL improved more than the Chiefs OL.

Keep in mind that 3 of the guys who started at OL for the Chiefs in the title game are now second or third string (Allegretti, Wylie, and Remmers) and a fourth (Reiter) isn't even in the league now.

Fans outside KC might not realize it, but the Chiefs' OL is much better this year and much better at run blocking. The only down -> would be Orlando brown vs. the speed rush at LT, but he's also better against the bull rush and better in the run game than Eric Fisher.

So this whole "be patient and make the Chiefs methodically drive" strategy is much more difficult to pull off. That's why the Chiefs are putting up a historically elite points per drive figure right now.
