The crazy thing is people actually love that slop up there. Restaurants that serve them are usually called 'Something' Hots.

To be fair I'm pretty sure that's actually more of a Rochester specialty than Buffalo. The restaurant that's most well known for them is on main street in Rochester. Nick Tahou Hots.
