That’s a good perspective and I tend to agree with you. My point is, these players have outlived their usefulness to our defense. Next offseason should help a great deal in freeing up money and roster spots, but this year’s defense is hard to be enthusiastic about in my book. The D needs a major overhaul. Most of the players being trotted out there aren’t good enough and it shows. I expect Clark, Reed, Hitchens, and Sorensen to all be shown the door in the offseason, possibly even letting Honey Badger walk. Whatever it takes, but this need defense needs addressed.
