I said before the season that it might look different; more efficient, less spectacular, and some of y'all roasted me for it. But other than the sudden rash of turnovers, I was right. If we don't turn the ball over, we score touchdowns on long, methodical drives.
We don't really have big offensive problems other than the turnovers.
We have HUGE defensive problems, however.

I have no problem with methodical, . . I'm actually quite fine with methodical.
The most concerning thing about methodical at present though, besides the increased # of plays leading to increased chances for big mistakes, is that we inevitably end up with the TD attempts coming in the shrunken confines of the red zone, which magnifies our blocking and hard running woes and removes the already schemed speed advantage at WR.
We're not going to be able to underhand bowl TDs to TEs forever.
1st and goal is a specific skillset, different from moving the ball down the remainder of the field.
Methodical, and '1st and goal' will be more promising when we get a better running threat and our blocking gels a little better.
