This all being said, if Chiefs have a clearly superior option, he should start in front of Sorenson. But I wouldn't overreact to a couple of bad plays when the pass rush wasn't very good.
'Lunchpail players' with marginal (and rapidly diminishing) physical skills don't get to strategically loaf. Especially not when you have a bullseye on your back.

As my coach once told me as I walked back to a huddle "Son, if you're tired, I'll find someone to play for you..."

He doesn't have the tools to take plays off. If he needs a blow, he needs to get off the field.
