Is it? Chiefs defense under Bob Sutton was top 10 almost every year other than 2018. Top 3 a few years too.
Put Mahomes on the Chiefs starting in 2013 and Sutton has a few rings. We certainly don't lose playoff games like the Titans and the Steelers games.
If Ford has his foot back 1 inch, we're talking about how the 2018 defense turned it around and dominated in the playoffs (depending on the SB outcome). They would have ended that game allowing only 24 points to Tom Brady and forcing him into 3 picks.
