Next time I go to Vegas I'm seriously considering staying at Gold Coast, they treated me wonderfully there my last Vegas trip.

Even Harrahs NKC has a $20/day resort fee.
I've stayed a couple of times at a small casino off of Fremont Street and didn't get charged, but I'm sure some of them do. The casino that I stayed at was definitely for low rollers, but I'm not a gambler and it had a decent restaurant and ludicrously cheap room.

It was Main Street Station. I had to look it up. If you look it up, you'll likely lose respect for me, but I was just passing through and it was actually a pretty decent hotel.

These things sound more expensive than the resort fee.

Don't try to make them sound honorable. I will challenge you to a duel.

I wouldn't care if they were transparent about it, but at the time I was using hotels.com (side note: never use hotels.com for anything because they're horrible) and there was no notification of "resort fees" until you checked out.
