Mac and cheese is always the go-to for me as well, if it's there, but I'm also big on mashed potatoes. I also think most folks could up their game if they made homemade bread or rolls. Seems a lot of people just buy the pre-made rolls and call it a day.

You make a good point on the bread/rolls, though I have to admit, I am a sucker for those Hawaiian sweet rolls! Slap a couple of those bad boys on my plate and I’ll never complain.
