I'm half German so making spaetzle is in my blood. Even when I was dirt poor I could make a filling meal for next to nothing. The first time I cooked for my then girlfriend I made Spaetzle, rouladen with a homemade red wine sauce and a salad. We'll be celebrating 28 years together , 25 years of marriage in may
