The Titans game was probably the most miserable I can recall (at least I think it was the Titans game).
So cold the propane heater we had in the easy up was melting surrounding ice in the parking lot that would then run down the hill and immediately re-freeze right outside of the tent walls. Eventually it was so cold the propane solidified and the heaters conked out. I tried turning the tank upside down to shake some free and the things turned into a jet engine so rather than kill us all, I gave up on that.
I feel like we had 2 brutally cold games that year - both night games. But that Titans game stood out for the fact that I was sitting there watching water melt, run, and immediately re-freeze. It's like those Jack London stories where some lumberjack would spit and it would freeze and crack before it hit the ground.
It was crazy.
