He's not a good receiver and that hurts because short passes would be a great way to get him the ball in space, but he's just as liable to have the ball bounce off of his hands as catch it. He's not a good blocker and you can't expect him to hold up any more than about a half of a second in pass pro on a regular basis. He's most likely not going to be an asset on a passing play at all. Defenses can completely shut him down by flooding the running lanes.

I'm just not seeing the benefits here for our offense, really. CEH has (for some reason) not developed into a receiver and is also a liability in pass protection.
