The fewer people who know about it, the better.
If it was ever really popular, they would take out the blue lines or whatever other bullshit to water it down for the masses and look for 10-8 kind of games... Americanize it into indoor soccer (I mean, the Comets were far more entertaining than actual soccer, but still).
I mean.... I seriously doubt anyone would say the popularity of the NFL has made the product on the field better.
