My mom's from Ohio. My favorite trashy thing she made was tuna casserole. She'd line the bottom of a 9x13 pan with ruffled potato chips (store brand) open two cans of tuna and spread that over them, then pour a can of cream of mushroom soup over all that and bake it in the oven.

I can still taste the saltiness.
