Both teams should touch the ball. It’s a huge advantage for offenses in that scenario bc not only is the game changed to favor offense, but both defenses are gassed. They’re dead tired.
Keep the rules the same except the team that lost the coin flip gets a chance to get a TD if the team that won the coin flip gets a TD first

The coin toss winner still probably benefits though. Is it sudden death after both teams score the TD?
In terms of the defense being out of gas, Buffalo gave up a ton of miracle 3rd down conversions by Mahomes in the first half. They were not tired at this point of the game, he just beat them with awesome playmaking. Heck, KC kicker even gave Buffalo a 4 point boost in regulation. Every play matters, but people seem to obsess about the final minutes of the game.
