It seemed to me that our defense struggled with running QBs and our schedule faced us up with Jackson, Allen, and Hurts (and Herbert wasn't bad) in our first 5 games. None of the remaining QBs among Cin, LAR, and SF is a rushing threat. That really frees up our defense and they performed much better this year when they weren't facing running QBs.
