Three things I got right:
- The DE position simply wasn't good enough. Chris Jones wasn't going to help, and they needed another DE or two. Melvin Ingram helped in that regard, but still wasn't enough to overcome the deficiencies.
- That Chris Jones at DE was going to be a failed experiment.
- That Jerrick McKinnon was going to be a player for us.
Three things I got wrong:
- I thought Nick Bolton was going to be a wasted pick.
- I thought we were going to get a great season out of Tyrann Mathieu as he headed into a contract year.
- Mecole Hardman is a lost cause and the Chiefs just need to sink that cost.
