I know that sounds crazy, but I think as fans many of us forget these guys are human beings. 4 straight years of overwhelming dedication and playing 20 or more football games in a season can take it's toll, both mentally and physically. They ran out of gas, it's really that simple. The Bengals wanted it more and they took it. No bad officiating, no fluke plays. We just fell apart and they took full advantage.
Yeah I think there's a lot of truth to this. I doubt they were looking forward to two weeks of Super Bowl hype and nonsense for the 3rd time in a row.
