I see no evidence other than conjecture there was anything racially motivated. White owners are a product of socioeconomic picture in America, not the NFL being racist. There are only 7 black billionaires that even exist in America, and I'm sure the NFL would be jumping for joy if one of them would buy a team.
BB confirmed they never intended to hire him anyway. They basically just didn't adhere to the Rooney Rule.
