There's nothing wrong with making this point and asking the question is there, and I've no idea why people take it so personally when it's suggested that, maybe, racism could be one of the reasons.
It might not be, it might be nepotism, the weird phenomenon of people being rewarded for serial failure, the preference for "experience", people hiring in their image re culture, class etc. But I'm not sure the possibility of black people being less interested in teaching/coaching positions is any better evidenced that it being an issue of race. Wouldn't it be useful to keep an open-mind and work towards understanding what the issue is (if you believe there is an issue), because the alternative is probably a lot of talent is just wasted.
