Plus you have to assume Whitworth will retire too, their highest draft pick is a 3rd round comp pick (so basically a 4th), and they're $13 million over the cap (though obviously that's less of an issue).

If McVay & Donald both quit, I would not be shocked if Stafford joins them. He has made a shit ton of money, played through a lot of injuries, finally has a ring (Hall of Fame lock now??), and probably has strong perspective on the important stuff in life after his wife defeated cancer. Maybe it’s time for him to focus on family. McVay & Donald might give Stafford a great reason to leave.
