I give credit on the bomb to Davis as not many QBs make that throw, but I won’t praise him for hitting a wide open receiver because the defender fell down or due to miscommunication by our secondary who was missing Mathieu. Mahomes simply put on a better performance against a better defense. Just because I say Mahomes is better does not equate to Allen is trash.

That isn't a fact. At all.
You realize Mahomes' extra possession in OT is tainting your memory of the game? Mahomes added 69 passing yards and 1 passing TD in that period. A period in which Allen didn't get a chance to touch the ball.
Without that extra drive, Mahomes ends up with 309 passing yards to Allen's 329. 2 passing TDs to Allen's 4. 69 rushing yards to Allen's 68. 1 rushing TD to Allen's 0.
Those two QBs were about as equal as you can be in that game.
