The optics of "moving on" from an OC that took you to the last 4 AFCCG's with one of the top offenses in the league.
In the eyes of others ... why move on from success?
The answer becomes obvious at that point that other negative factors are involved. It would basically ruin his chances for any future.
Also the fact he was named in Brian Flores lawsuit against the NFL. Our man has a LOT of light on him. The powers that be just being cautious.
