This is a DAMN sight more palatable than $10+ million on a make-good deal.

And it's also why I'm not sure why everyone was so certain it was an amazing deal when it was announced. Most of y'all would get absolutely barbecued at a negotiating table, wouldn't you? It wasn't an amazing deal at $10 million guaranteed and hopefully the demonstration of what a fair deal in this scenario actually is helps some recognize that fact.
