The ability to run good routes has to do with agility & change of direction ability. Combine that with the fact that he struggles to understand improvisation once he gets into his route or once it's complete. It's pretty simple really.
Every knock on Mecole Hardman coming out of the NFL draft is exactly what we are seeing as his detractors now.
