I don't think anyone on here is 'ecstatic' about Hill leaving, not sure where you're getting that from?
But people that are acting like the sky is falling need to chill the **** out. Reek and his agent made a 'business decision' and forced our hand. It is what it is. We're worse right now, but this will be a better move for the Chiefs in the long term. Tyreek can only band-aid a few issues on this team. The trading of him (and the money, cap space and draft capital gained) has the potential to fix a LOT more issues on this team.
Now the Chiefs front office just needs to get shit done and Veach and his scouts need to have another great draft. It can be done. But it's up to them.

Yeah as I said I accept it's a fair argument that the offence WITH Reek collapsed. But then there's the Buffalo game too. Depends what we're focusing on I suppose, but both positions are defensible in my mind.
Have you read the "optimists" thread? Have you read any post by Rasputin? There are some people here who really do seem to be suggesting they're happier he's gone
right now. Perhaps in the long-term, and perhaps AFTER the draft and FA we can say that. But right now it's nonsense. I mean i'm excited to see who we pick for sure, but I'm not cartwheeling around thinking about how it'll replace a HOF 4.2 WR.
