So I'm pretty sure my Jets draft is actually done.
#4: Evan Neal, OT, Alabama
#8: Travon Walker, EDGE, Georgia
#35: Andrew Booth Jr, CB, Clemson
#38: Jahan Dotson, WR, Penn State
#69: Tariq Woolen, CB, UTSA
111: Calvin Austin III, WR, Memphis
117: Darrian Beavers, LB, Cincinnati
146: Dohnovan West, IOL, Arizona State
163: Matthew Butler, DT, Tennessee
Probably should've gone with Travis Jones instead of Jahan Dotson at 38, but I'm just not a huge fan of Dotson so I'm letting my bias cloud my judgment a bit and ultimately the Jets needed a solid well-rounded WR prospect (then again, they could also use a disruptive interior DL). I still just don't see the ceiling there but then again, maybe ceiling isn't critical for them right now - they just need some guys that can be above average players.
That was my most questionable pick by a fair amount, IMO.
Should've maybe gone with Nick Cross at 69 instead of Woolen but the Jets signed Whitehead and Woolen just has too damn much potential to pass on the early 3rd.
Barno over Beavers would've been justifiable at 117 but I Beavers just presents such an interesting swiss army knife. Then again he may just be a special teams tweener sort.
On balance I think that's a hell of a return not just because of the amount of capital I had to work with, but because I think I extracted a really nice bit of value out of just about every one of those picks.
