McDaniel's runs a similar offense that Carr ran in 2016 which he performed well in. I don't think they will be an easy out and McDaniel's will have this team prepared along with expectations.
McDaniel's 11-17 record was a learning process for him. He came in after a long termed head coach in Shanahan was running that team like a country club. That team started off 6-0 and the wheels fell off as the vet players who weren't used to the patriot way quickly tired of McDaniel's. I'm thinking he learned a thing or two over the decade since he's been the Broncos coach.

Mathew Stafford played for the Detroit Lions he earned all his wins. He never would have won a Championship staying in Detroit. Kudos for him to win SB.
This is like when Chiefs gave Matt Cassell all that money thinking if you give him franchise money he will play like a franchise quarterback.
Now I know he has a new target and I'm sure the Raiders will be better this year but they ain't winning the division best is second best but they will have Chargers and Denver to contend with and then us that have the best Quarterback and Coach tandem in then NFL. I'm still laughing at their deal and I'm still laughing they hired Josh McDaniels. I'm really laughing in a couple years when they pay Davante Adams and some of their other big splash FA stars that will fizzle out.
