This could play a role in Veach not making any additional moves until after that....

So KC could be looking at three 3rd round picks, two 4ths and two 6ths...they could afford to sacrifice the 2023 1st rounder in a move up...not that I want them to. That's a lot of ammo next year too...

The further you get away from the shock of losing Hill...the more you realize how amazing the log-term compensation is. Five picks and saving $25-27 million per allocated to one source. Paying him would have caused problems down the road...and potentially stunted the progression of the team. Too top heavy...

That's a lot of strategy for a rigged game.
