It really was. He ****ing erased Gronk for damn near 4 quarters.
That game, following his insane 2016 season, man, I thought he was headed for Canton, for sure.
He’s probably my favorite Chiefs “What if..?“ for injuries, along with Jamaal Charles, of course.

I’m trying to find some numbers but advanced statistics are hard to find.
I remember we were one of the top 3 teams in defending TEs and Berry had a lot to do with it.
He spent a lot of time in 2013 in the box, like you say, and a fair amount of the responsibility he had in the box was covering TEs.
