FTR - I'm agnostic on the connection, but if they are mults of each other, they are good at compartmentalizing.
Both have beef, but PB's is substantive and Cosmo's is just irrational irritation.
I push PB on his opinions and he pushes back for not supporting or agreeing with them.
I leave Cosmo alone and he catalogs my every move with 'here's what BL just said' posts. I guess they are supposed to document his irritation with my disposition or posting style or something. But beyond that, he doesn't engage with any substance of note.
And neither of them refer to the beef of the other or in any other way engage in the same manner as each other, to my view.
