The NFL ****ing loves to tweak tiny shit. Sometimes it's done in the name of a lofty principle (safety) and other times it's done to just be complicated and ****ing stupid (OT rules, uniform changes, "legal tampering" in the offeseason, etc.)
It's a little weird that you and Carr are staunch defenders of keeping the schedule this way, where the NFL has changed other far more insignificant shit for much less.
