This. Clark could have seen the writing on the wall, put up a wall and just mailed it in for the paycheck. Easily could have gone into the tank and done nothing about his situation.
Instead, you see a guy who has gotten into the best shape he's been in since his arrival, cut out vices, and come out and acknowledged that Reid called him out and he understands that he was not good enough.
That's huge for a struggling player that talks as much shit as Clark does.
We were already expecting little to nothing from him, so why not be optimistic when you see a guy not just saying the right things, but has obviously been doing the right things.
