The real motive behind "depopulation" is an attempt to maintain the status quo. They are obsessed with maintaining it...the Pharaoh/slave dynamic. They view themselves as the descendants of gods...and are willing to destroy everything to retain the power they deem rightfully theirs. You dont see any other earthly life form reinventing and utilizing hidden elements to remake it's world...we are an anomaly...alien.
