Blood is the conduit substance for entry into this plane...if you dont understand the occult's use of blood and how there are protections preventing them from entry...it wont make sense to you.

Not my rules...it's just the nature of how things are constructed. It's the work/practice rituals of foreign entities that were introduced in antiquity. It's a deliberate method of "juking the system/natural order"...if makes no sense to you..it's because it's not supposed to. It makes perfect sense to them...it's fallen god work.
Remember vampires cant gain entry "unless you invite them in"...there are a lot of real occult underpinnings in story of Dracula. They need constant blood to exist...much like black occultists need blood sacrifice to create a portal for their "connections" to gain fleeting access to this world.
