I'm surprised how many people are unable to connect their laptop/desktop directly to their TV in the living room and treat the TV as a dumb monitor.
Use an old 'retired' computer.
I much prefer to surf in a web browser with keyboard mouse than be limited by some stupid 'smart' TV app.
Each to their [stupid] own.
