Townsend was absolutely outstanding last night.
But the degree of difficulty on Amendola's kicks give him the edge, IMO. Not because of the kicks themselves, but because every last one of them was a high stress kick. Granted, it's almost hard to miss a 19 yarder, but we've seen it happen and it was a game-tying kick.
After the Pick 6 he went out there and drilled a big XP to ensure that's a 7 point game. Then with a chance to effectively ice it to make it a 2-score game, he nails another one. Again - not a tough one, but it hardly matters with the stakes that high for a kid off the street.
Just a massive effort from Amendola. If Henne gets credit for not stepping on his dick to ice a playoff game, this kid deserves equal amounts.
