Mahomes has what Jordan had. There is something in his DNA that is incredibly rare and can't really even be explained. He brings out the best in those on his side and the worst for those the opposing teams. They expect to lose when he's on the field, and it becomes self fulfilling prophecy. The win against the Bills last year should have made that abundantly clear. Despite the fluke loss to the Bengals, no other QB in NFL history wins that game with 13 seconds left against Buffalo. Nobody except him.
You add to that one of the top 5 coaches in NFL history, the best GM in football, Spags always putting together a solid & opportunistic defense, and the best home field advantage in pro sports, and the rest of league stands no chance in most cases. It's really that simple, no matter how much the media or anyone else tries to bitch and moan it out of existence.

Most of the former players do and I'm sure in private most talking heads do as well. They are suppose to take the opposite angle to rile people up for clicks and listens.
