I don’t think we do it.
I’d doubt we’d make move for another tier-2 WR, since have a handful, so then logically the move would be a Tier 1 WR, on a non-contender, not in the AFC West and probably not the AFC in general.
- DK Metcalf - fits the bill, but would cost a ton in cap next year and draft capital. We’d have to restructure or send back a player to create room now and in the future.
- Tyler Lockett - Tier 2 WR BUT he specializes in moving the chains, deep balls and would be affordable.
- Robbie Anderson - Not elite, but a deep ball specialist who just needs a shot with a good QB.
- Terry McLauren - A dream, but just like Metcalf, he signed for a ton and would cost a ton in pick/s.
- DeAndre Hopkins - not sure if his contract is more affordable since he won’t hit incentives this year, but he’s on a shorter contract. He’s also 30 which Veach hates.
