I've watched the Wall Street Journal printer move 3 or 4 different times in the last 20 years. Forget it in a storm. They just credit your account, or send the old papers days after.
They pretty much deliver them the same way though, a box truck to different cities then into the back of whatever trash vehicle the carrier has.
