I suppose I've just been really lucky then, because it doesn't matter much to my stomach, apparently. Greasy, oily, spicy, dairy, processed, etc. It all comes out the same.. Although I hear a lot of people become more susceptible to bowel/stomach irritants as they get older. Hope that's not me.
The only thing I can say that reliably changes my stool is a day/night of heavy beer drinking. I don't generally have diarrhea the next day, but my poo is definitely softer that next morning. That happen to anyone else?

Sometimes really spicy foods do this because the actual spice is an irritant to the stomach and intestine lining, so you'll get speedier gastric emptying along with the fluid flush and bowel stimulation. It's not the same as loose or gassy poop from too much fiber, etc.

Yeah, I definitely wasn't naïve enough to believe that lol
Just more curious about your experience. My girlfriend is actually pretty similar, but she's lactose intolerant
and super hit or miss with the spicy foods. She knows all of this, though, so it's like playing Russian roulette with her bowels everytime. Idk why she puts herself through it.
