A kickoff has to pass ten yards in front of the kick before it gets touched by the kicking team regardless.
So yeah, you can kick towards your own goal line, but it doesn't do anything for you unless someone on the receiving team touches it without securing it.
Just leave it alone, if the kicking team is that stupid.
