If I'm GB I probably put the 2nd round tender on him. That's gonna be about $4 million and I doubt anyone is willing to surrender a 2 for him.
That said, lets say you can get him to agree to a tender of, say, 3/$27 million. That's 2 years, $23 million in 'new' money over his RFA tender. Would he be worth that contract and a 2nd round pick? GB wouldn't match it.
My money says no. I think that's too rich when the draft compensation included. I'd consider the 3rd, but not the 2nd if I'm only getting a 3 year deal from him.
But if you could get him on a 4 year, $36 million deal....I'd think pretty hard about that one. Okorafor re-signed with Pittsburgh for 3/$30 million but only 1 year/$10 million in guarantees. Maybe he bites on more term if you offer more guaranteed money? 4/$40 million w/ $25 million in guarantees?
Because that's a STEAL if he's an above average LT, especially if he's a strength in pass pro.

Here's the thing though. With as much as LT's cost, yeah, if you can get a cheap guy playing above his level there it's such a big ass value play it's worth it.
But the question is, would it be easier to "find" a guy that can play above his level at say RG or LG or ILB or S vs LT?
It's such a premium spot, there's a reason they make what they make and get drafted where they do. There's just not very many people on earth that can do what is asked that they do.
