You’re right and have a good point. I even alluded to it in the post you quoted. I talked about taking away a full possession for Mahomes. But even taking away a full possession, Mahomes was just about equal to Allen (4.2 vs 4.0).
Even punting 4 times, Allen scored the same amount per possession as Mahomes. That was the point. That’s impressive, being that I consider Mahomes to one of the best of all time!
