It's just another stupid overcorrection by the league. I'm sure somebody got hit with his foot stuck in the turf, his knee got hurt so it's time to pass some ****ing rule that has no chance of being uniformly enforced.

Ah, OK, so when the OL kicks out with a full head of steam and the CB would just throw himself at the lineman's knee, they want to get rid of that.
I can see the reasoning but.. as long as the guy is not engaged with another player, I'm not sure I see why that rule needs to be instituted. Just seems like football to me. Gotta keep your head on a swivel.
