You have to be too old to even want to deal with that shit at this point. Considering the neighbors car was totaled and it sounds like a DV situation hopefully the neighbor called the police.
If I were that neighbor I would be going all out to make sure that bullshit would stop coming onto my line of the fence. Cost the neighbor time, money, and property. Keeping your bullshit on your side of the fence is box #1 to check off on a good neighbor.
