Not at all surprising.
I could see him breaking his rule for Mahomes and maybe Kelce. But by and large, that one's been pretty much written in stone.
I can't recall a single instance where he played a guy who wasn't able to practice by the end of the week. I recall Chris Jones in the playoff game against Houston being someone that everyone just assumed would play despite missing practices - it was about as clear an example as you'll find.
If Reid's not going to play a superstar defender who's extremely familiar with this system in a
playoff game, there ain't many guys he'd be willing to play at any time given these circumstances.
